About BOOTH
BOOTH is a marketplace connecting barbershop owners with barbers seeking chair or “booth” rentals. Built for the gig era of barbering of tomorrow, BOOTH helps shop owners fill their chairs and gives barbers the flexibility to work across multiple locations. Founded by Eduardo Ramos, a Mexican-American son of immigrants, Chicago-based product designer, barber, and barbershop owner, BOOTH launched in open beta on December 28, 2025 and is currently live.

Founder Bio
Eduardo Ramos started cutting hair at 13, working out of his parents’ basement in Berwyn, Illinois. He kept cutting, continued to work on the craft through high school and through his years at Dominican University, where he studied International Business and Communications, then in shops, then eventually as an owner himself. All while building a parallel career across tech, renewable energy, and nonprofit space.
When he opened ABS Workspace, he felt the gap immediately. No real tools for managing booth rentals, no way for barbers to find open chairs, no infrastructure for the growing wave of independents moving shop to shop on their own terms. So he built BOOTH.
Currently living in Little Village and working out of Pilsen, he owns and operates ABS Workspace, a creative barber workspace studio rental in Chicago that houses his barbershop, LAB96, his web design agency, and serves as the BOOTH platform headquarters. He handles product design, development, and the business solo, building alongside motivated individuals with the aspiration to create the ecosystem of tomorrow for the barber industry. This season he will get in front of barbershops and begin promoting BOOTH organically in the field with goals to scale the project to new heights.
