For a shop owner, an occupied chair means recurring revenue. For a barber, it’s the space to build a business. Booth rent connects the two. Booth rent is the agreement between the shop that provides the chair and the barber who works in it. It runs every week or every month, for as long as the barber is there. That agreement deserves a professional system. BOOTH brings it together: finding a chair, agreeing on terms, signing digitally, and putting rent on schedule. Every payment adds to a business record and earns rewards toward the tools barbers use.
Know what you’re agreeing to
A chair’s price tells part of the story. What’s included? When is rent due? How long does the agreement last? Those answers help a barber decide whether a shop fits their business. They also help an owner plan rental income, cover costs, and manage the shop. On BOOTH, the owner sends a plan offer with the rent, payment schedule, what’s included, and the terms of the chair. The barber reviews the offer and signs digitally. Both sides begin with transparency. The agreement sets the terms, and every payment after it follows them.
Turn a recurring payment into a business record
Once the agreement is signed and autopay is enabled, rent is collected weekly or monthly on the agreed schedule. Both sides can see what’s been paid, what’s due, and what comes next. For a shop with four chairs at $650 a month, that’s $2,600 in monthly rent to manage. Knowing which payments have arrived and which are still due helps the owner plan around that income. For the barber, the same record shows the cost of their workspace and their payment history. Each payment is dated and documented. When it’s time to review expenses, prepare the books, or answer a question about rent, the information is there. That record also helps with the bigger financial picture. An owner can show rent received next to other business income. A barber can show workspace costs next to earnings. It doesn’t replace full bookkeeping. It does make the business easier to explain to an accountant, landlord, or lender. Professional work deserves a professional paper trail.
Earn toward what keeps you working
Rent secures your workspace. On BOOTH, it also earns points toward the tools and supplies you use there. Barbers earn BOOTH points on every rent payment, redeemable in the BOOTH rewards shop toward products such as clippers, trimmers, styling products, and everyday consumables. These are purchases that come with the profession. Tools wear out. Products run low. Rewards earned through rent can help with the next tool or restock. Paying with an eligible rewards card may earn that card’s points or cash back as well, depending on its terms. One payment can earn two sets of rewards: BOOTH points and card rewards. Paying by card can also help your credit. Paying the card on time builds payment history on that card account, and a low balance helps your score. A high balance can hurt it. That benefit comes from the card account. BOOTH does not report rent to the credit bureaus. Learn how card accounts affect credit scores.

Know the cost before you start
BOOTH is free for owners, who receive the full rent they set. Barbers pay a 5% fee to use the payment system. For $650 in rent, the fee is $32.50. The barber pays $682.50, and the owner receives $650. For that fee, the barber gets signed terms, scheduled payments, a shared payment record, and BOOTH rewards, plus any rewards from their card. Weigh the fee against those when you decide.

More than a way to pay
Booth rent is one part of BOOTH. Shops can list chairs, connect with barbers, send plan offers, sign agreements, and offer Guest Pass, with or without collecting rent through the platform. A lot of shops already run on Squire, and they do an amazing job with booking, checkout and the client. BOOTH handles the rent and makes it work better for the barbers who pay it. Keep Squire for the haircut. For the chair, use BOOTH. Find the chair, agree on the terms, pay the rent. All of it happens on BOOTH. The goal is simple: help barbers and shop owners run better, smarter businesses. List your shop on BOOTH or find your next chair.
