BOOTH takes 0% from shop owners. Barbers pay a flat 3% platform fee on top of rent when paying through BOOTH. Standard Stripe card-processing fees (~2.9% + 30¢) apply to every card transaction and are deducted from your payout — same as any merchant processor. If you collect rent off-platform (cash, Venmo, etc.), there are no fees at all.

Is BOOTH really free?
Yes. BOOTH is 100% free for shop owners — no credit card, no trial, no setup fee. List your shop, onboard barbers, and run your dashboard at no cost.
So what's the 3% platform fee?
When a barber pays rent through BOOTH, a 3% fee is added on top of the rental — paid by the barber, not deducted from your cut. That's BOOTH's only revenue from your shop. If you collect rent off-platform (cash, Venmo, e-transfer, etc.), there's no BOOTH fee at all.
Do shop owners get paid through the app?
Yes — via Stripe Connect, with instant or standard payouts. BOOTH itself takes 0% from your rental amount. Standard Stripe card-processing fees (~2.9% + 30¢ per transaction) apply to all card payments and are deducted from your payout, exactly like any other merchant processor.
How do booth plans work?
You set your own pricing, rental periods (daily, weekly, monthly), and booth options. Barbers onboard to your shop and pay automatically via auto-renewing plans — you get paid without chasing anyone.
Can I have more than one shop?
Yes — list as many shops as you want. Multi-location features (unified dashboards, cross-shop analytics) are on the roadmap and will roll out as we move out of open beta.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. BOOTH charges 3% only — on top of the barber's rent, not from your cut. No monthly fees, no listing fees, no per-barber fees. The only other deduction on your payout is standard Stripe card processing (~2.9% + 30¢), which applies to any card transaction anywhere.
