Open your account settings
Sign in and go to Dashboard → Account. Payments live at the top of that page, under the heading that tells you whether payouts are on or off.
Hit Connect with Stripe
This opens Stripe's own onboarding in a new window. Click it once and follow it all the way through — starting over from the beginning creates a second account instead of continuing the first one.
Verify who you are
Stripe asks for your legal name, date of birth, address, and — in the US — the last four of your SSN. If you run the shop as a business, you'll pick a business type and enter your EIN. BOOTH never sees or stores any of it; it goes straight to Stripe.
Add the bank account you want money in
Routing and account number, or an instant bank login. This is the account every payout lands in, so use the one you actually check.
Come back to BOOTH
Your Account page flips to Payouts enabled. That's the switch — from that moment, rent and bookings paid through BOOTH settle to you automatically.
Good to know
- 01Payouts follow Stripe's standard schedule. Your first one takes longer while Stripe verifies the account; after that it's the usual couple of business days.
- 02BOOTH's platform fee is 5%, taken out of the payment. Card processing fees are charged to your connected account, not to BOOTH's — so what you see in Stripe is what actually happened.
- 03If your status says Payouts disabled, Stripe is usually waiting on one document. Use the Stripe dashboard link on your Account page to see exactly which one.
