Booth rental is when a barber pays a shop a fixed rent (daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) for a chair and keeps what they earn from their own clients. The barber runs their own book, sets their own prices and hours, and the shop provides the space, the chair and the amenities.
With booth rent, the barber pays the shop a set amount and keeps 100% of what their clients pay.
